Virtual Blue Eagles Aerobatic Team
Job Openings
The Virtual Blue Eagles Aerobatic Team has been founded in late 2007, starting with two pilots. In the meantime our team consists of six pilots plus one spare pilot.
We use “Lock on flaming cliffs (V.1.12a)” and fly the McDonnell-Douglas F-15C “Eagle” which is an air superiority fighter which came into service in the last century’s 70s. The F-15 Eagle is still in service several hundred times world wide.
Actually we work intensively on our display for the Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams (VFAT) which will take part in the mid of December, 2008. The VFAT is a live show which will be streamed on the internet and where a lot of good skilled aerobatic teams will participate.
Our team name sounds very similar to the real Blue Angels as well as to the Virtual Blue Angels which we both adore very much for their magnificent skills and dedication! Our adorement comes to sight in the painting scheme of our F-15C Eagle.
To be well prepared for the upcoming event “Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams (VFAT)” we are looking for two more pilots. Even though our team is currently complete we are looking for pilots who can on the one side play the “backup” part for our active pilots and on the other side are fully able to fly our complete display. Since the VFAT staff might give our team the chance to fly our display on more than one day of the event there could be a likely chance for you to participate as an active pilot at the VFAT as well!
Our current openings are:
LEFT WING (backup for our #3)
SECOND SOLO (backup for our #6)
If you are interested in joining our dedicated team, please check the conditions for joining and beeing a VBE team member. You’ll find detailed information within our FAQ in our forums. For these special job offering you should be at least average experienced in formation flying.
Important information: Our training dates are every week on Mondays and Fridays, from 20.00 until about 22.00 German Time. If you won’t be able to reliably participate in these days please refrain from applying for our current pilot jobs.

• Organize management affairs of an aerobatic team
• Create videoclips
• Create and modify skins/mods
• Be an airshow narrator
• Be a camera man
• Support our website / forums
• do comparable things in management
